The lastest and greatest attempts by 888 flunkies (their affiliate network) is to ‘GoogleBowl’ the competetion. This means that they are copying content from honest webmasters, creating thousands of poorly designed websites, and attempting to get those HONEST websites de-listed at the search engines. The overall effect is that the HONEST websites are now not ranking for search terms AND all you can find are 888 pages.

Very unsavory tactics. Here are a few of the offenders, but the list is SOOO HUGE, that I could not possibly post it here.

These are just a FEW of thousands of sites attempting to ‘GoogleBowl’ a popular website (and one that is AGAINST 888’s efforts to ruins search engine’s results).

It could get A LOT worse before it gets better, but in the meantime - 888 casinos are corrupt and not worthy of play!

A simple search on Yahoo for: 888.com Online Casino reveals in the #9 position a blog:

In checking their links, we find that it is almost exclusively spamming of other webmaster’s guestbooks. There IS AN AFFILIATE LINK attached to this blog, but can’t 888 monitor and shut these SPAMMERS down??? C’Mon 888, you are a publicly held company!

Is your inbox full? It is becoming increasingly familiar to wake up to a full inbox of 888.com SPAM. Affiliate upon affiliate use SPAM techniques which 888.com refuses to take care of. Other casino affiliate programs will block accounts of those sending out SPAM, but 888.com just disregards requests to stop email spamming.

It must be making them a ton of money, is all we can assume.

The emails are always the same although the domain changes. These domains are re-directs to 888 brands. This SPAM should stop and a public company such as 888.com should really not partake in these tactics.

Check out a real casino… There are many of them out there with ethical business practices.

Well… 888.com has done it again. They have been for a very long time spamming other webmaster’s forums, guestbooks, comment locations, and anything else they can find.

As an example… If you were to put up a guestbook on your own site with the purpose of allowing your friends and family to sign in and leave you a message, 888.com employees would find that guestbook and leave messages about their casinos.

This is in very poor taste! They are spamming websites that are NOT EVEN IN THE CASINO INDUSTRY in order to get as much traffic as possible.

It just sickens me. Please, if you wish to play at a reputable casino, check out All Jackpots on the right hand side of the page.

888.com Continues to allow stealing of content

888.com has continued to allow it’s webmasters to steal content from other webmasters. It is a growing problem in the casino industry and centers around 888.com and it’s casino properties such as Casino On Net, 888.com, and Pacific Poker.

You might ask… How is this happening? Here is how the process occurs:

1. Webmasters use ‘robots’. These ‘robots’ will copy the content of a popular website with original content (created by the owner through hard work and much time).

2. The new website will USE this content (along with the content of many sites) to get high rankings in the search engines.

3. The new site will then use a re-direct to FORCE web surfers to go directly to 888.com, Casino On Net, or Pacific Poker instead of to a real web page.

The MAJORITY of 888.com affiliates are practicing these methods of stealing copyrighted website material to SPAM the search engines and create poor search results which will funnel the traffic to 888.com. This is very well documented and proof has come that links 888.com and it’s employees with the hiring of such unethical webmasters.
